Plot 4, Avonmouth
A modern logistics facility designed for high-capacity warehousing and efficient distribution operations.
The project included the installation of 71 loading bays, 8 level access doors, and 19 fire exit doors, creating a fully integrated access and loading system across the development. Installation works were carried out alongside structural progress, cladding installation, and phased equipment deliveries, requiring careful coordination to ensure seamless integration with the building envelope and operational layout.

Dock Levellers
A total of 71 dock levellers were installed to create safe and efficient transitions between warehouse floors and transport vehicles of varying heights. As the operational core of each loading bay, the levellers allow forklifts, pallet trucks, and material handling equipment to move smoothly during loading and unloading activities.
Each installation required precise alignment within the dock pits to ensure correct load distribution, operational reliability, and long-term performance under demanding logistics conditions. Designed for intensive daily use, the system supports faster vehicle turnaround and uninterrupted goods movement.

Sectional Loading Bay Doors
Sectional loading bay doors were installed across all 71 loading positions, providing secure access, weather protection, and thermal efficiency throughout the facility.
Built for continuous operation in a busy logistics environment, the doors deliver reliable performance while helping maintain internal temperatures and reduce energy loss. Their installation was carefully coordinated with façade and cladding works to achieve both functional efficiency and a clean architectural finish.
Level Access Doors
The project included the installation of 8 level access doors, providing dedicated entry points for warehouse personnel, maintenance teams, equipment movement, and operational access outside the loading bays.
Strategically positioned throughout the facility, these doors improve internal circulation and site efficiency by creating flexible access routes that support day-to-day warehouse operations.
Fire Exit Doors
A total of 19 fire exit doors were installed throughout the building as part of the facility’s fire protection and life-safety strategy.
These doors provide clearly designated emergency escape routes and are designed to help resist the spread of fire and smoke for a specified period, protecting evacuation paths and supporting safe exit procedures. Their placement across operational and service areas ensures accessible escape points throughout the warehouse while maintaining compliance with safety requirements.
In addition to their protective function, the fire exit doors were selected for durability and reliability within an industrial environment, combining essential safety performance with robust construction suited to high-traffic facilities.

Dock Bumpers, Dock Shelters & Wheel Guides
Dock bumpers, dock shelters, and wheel guides were installed across all 71 loading bays to improve protection, efficiency, and safety during loading operations.
The dock bumpers absorb vehicle impact and help protect loading equipment and surrounding structures, while the dock shelters create a sealed connection between trailers and the warehouse to protect goods and improve thermal performance.
Wheel guides support accurate vehicle alignment, reducing impact risks and ensuring safe, efficient docking procedures.
Supplied and installed by Promstahl, the project demonstrates the scale, coordination, and technical expertise required to deliver complex loading infrastructure within a major industrial development.
